Hi All -- Today is the first day of Spring . . . a long awaited day. It has been a long, cold winter and everyone has looked forward to seeing the snow melt and the trees start to bud. We still have a lot of snow on the ground, but with the warmer, sunny days we have been having, it should soon start to go. With the good snow cover, the ground has not frozen and the snow should quickly sink into the ground. A good thing for our beautiful chain of lakes.
Spring fever must be hitting the south part of Wisconsin and Illinois, as we are getting more phone calls regarding property.
Manitowish Waters will be having their 21nd annual Music Fest at the Airport on July 25th this year. We will also have entertainment Friday night. We have signed up RANDY TRAVIS so far and are working on 4-5 additional acts. Be sure to get your tickets early. As soon as we have the poster done and finalized, I will post it on this site. If any of you want tickets, feel free to contact me, or you can also contact the Manitowish Waters Chamber of Commerce at 715-543-8488. It was a great event last year (our 1st) and will be bigger and better in every way this year!
